Y’all ready for this?
Our first VQL meeting of the summer was promising and we’re really looking forward to next week’s follow-up so we can hash out an optimal schedule structure as well as best ways to generate funding, keep teams thriving, etc.
Looking forward to it!
Full disclosure: There’s one last match score (UVA @ VCU) that never got posted. I’ve hassled a couple of folks about it, but I keep forgetting to stay on point. My fault! -Emily
Apologies for the belated nature of this update, hopefully no one was waiting with bated breath.
W&M @ VCU: our hosts won both matches with 120:50(s) and 170(s):0
Kutztown @ CNU: Captains of Crucio win 160:60(s)
Today, the JMU Marauders hosted the UVA Whomping Willows and VCU Wizengamot at their very first Quidfest tournament in Harrisonburg!
A big thanks to all the teams for a great afternoon of fun, well-mannered frivolity and some intense Quidditch!

Coming soon, the match scores from last week’s Second Annual River City Invitational :)
My sneakers have been looking pretty ratty for a while. They were once a bright sky blue. Before this weekend, they were a dingy grayish-brownish-blue. After the River City Invitational this weekend, I decided they weren’t worth saving and went out and got both a pair of sneakers and a pair of cleats. Naturally, I couldn’t resist continuing with the blue trend. They look so pretty and new right now.
Glad to see RCI destroyed your shoes but not your hopes and dreams.
